To make the laser hair removal procedure effective, the hairs should not be plucked for about 2 weeks for areas of the body and bout 10 days for the face. During this period, if necessary, you can remove hairs with a trimmer, razor, scissors. In this way you will leave the root in the skin, on which the laser hair removal will be directed, in order to destroy the hair follicle.
For our laser technology you should not be exposed to strong sun, solarium and sauna 3 days before the procedure and 3 days after the procedure. You should also not use scrubs, self-tanners and chemical peels at least 7 days before the procedure for the area you want to treat with laser hair removal.
When you start laser hair removal procedures, between the procedures you should not pluck the hairs from the root in the area. If necessary, you can remove the part of the hair above the skin with a trimmer, razor, scissors.
Our laser hair removal system uses a combination of energy and heat to destroy the follicles without damaging the skin around them. After a series of sessions you will notice a constant decrease in hair growth. Depending on the area you choose to treat, you will always be ready to slip into a bathing suit, you will not think about burning or irritating with a razor and you will stop worrying about ugly rooted hair.
Hair growth is divided into three phases – Anagen, Caragen and Telogen.
Anagen – growth phase;
Catagen – transitional phase;
Telogen – resting phase;
Anagen phase is the best time to destroy the hair root. In the Caragen phase and Telogen phase it cannot be completely destroyed because the laser cannot work effectively on the root.
To affect all hair follicles with a normal hormonal background, we recommend between 4 and 6 procedures. Studies show an average hair loss of 80% after 4-6 procedures. They are carried out at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks. Then you can continue to maintain the effect with 1 to 2 procedures per year.
You should expect a result after the first procedure. After the first procedure all hairs in the active stage of growth should be removed. Over time, new ones may sprout, but these are the “sleeping” hairs that have woken up after the first procedure. However, the old ones should not show up again.
The day before the procedure, the area should be shaved or trimmed. At least 2 weeks before the laser hair removal procedure, the hair should not be plucked (removed with tweezers, wax mask or epilator) in order to be able to treat the hair follicle and the procedure to be most effective.
For most customers, the hairs stop growing after several procedures (permanent hair removal). Some clients do not experience the same effect due to hormonal imbalance.
Laser hair removal has been available worldwide as a method to remove unwanted hair for more than 20 years and so far there is no known case of skin cancer due to laser hair removal treatment.
The laser pulse has the property of being attracted by the melanin (pigment) in the hair, where the light of the pulse is converted into heat and destroys the hair follicle. Does not affect surrounding tissues. When treated with a laser, the moles must be covered with a white pencil so that the light scattered by the laser does not affect them in any way. This way we ensure additional protection of problematic areas on the skin such as moles.
The skin has many physiological functions such as sweating, regulation of body temperature, sensation, etc. The laser will not damage the normal function of the skin. It is completely safe for your skin.
It is absolutely impossible. The impulse is so small that the deepest place it can penetrate is about 7 mm to 1 cm. in the hair. It can’t even reach the bulb. Therefore, the technology is designed so that light is transformed into heat and so the heat reaches and destroys the hair follicle. It is impossible for the impulse to reach any internal organ.
Long-lasting hair removal, which can be achieved in a short period of time, while improving the condition of the skin. The so-called “inverted hair” is removed and problems with the follicle, boils, pimples, etc. are improved.
IPL means “intense pulse light” and it is not a laser. While IPL may be effective in some cosmetic procedures, our experience supports more powerful but safer and faster use of the laser for a more permanent hair removal solution.
Areas with tattoos are not treated, because the tattoo can be damaged, as well as areas with moles. The procedure can be done in an area that is at least 2.5 cm. away from the tattoo.
There is no age limit, but the procedures for children under the age of 18 are performed with the consent of a parent. It is recommended to start the procedures after reaching the age of 13.
There is no recovery period. Clients can return to work immediately after the procedure. Elysion-pro and PrimeLase HR do not damage the integrity of the skin, but only the hair, so the risks are minimized.
The only thing allowed between procedures is shaving, trimming or removing with depilatory cream. Any pulling with an epilator, wax mask or tweezers would spoil the effect of the epilation and you will have to do additional procedures, as these hairs will reappear!
There are several conditions and they are mainly to protect your skin:
Do not epilate with a wax mask from 7 to 12 days before the procedure.
Avoid sun exposure on the treated area /solarium/ for at least 3 days before and after the procedure. It is mandatory to apply a sunscreen with a maximum protection factor SPF 50+ on exposed areas in direct sunlight for a period of 3-4 days after the procedure. This eliminates the risk of pigmentation after the laser hair removal procedure.
